BLUE CROSS OF CALIFORNIA

Our work with Blue Cross of California/Wellpoint Health Networks involves the translation of medical records, insurance claims and other health care information from various languages into English.  Blue Cross receives many claims from its clients who receive medical care abroad while traveling. When the claims are to be processed, Blue Cross acquires the medical records from various foreign hospitals and clinics and processes them using their standard procedure.  Lazar & Associates provides efficient and accurate translation of medical charts, analyses, lab reports, prescriptions, correspondence, collateral material, etc.  The claims originate from almost anywhere in the world and involve translation into and out of German, Italian, Spanish, French, Japanese, Chinese (Traditional and Simplified) and Portuguese, among others.

MICROSOFT CORPORATION

Lazar & Associates worked with Microsoft Corporation to provide and coordinate teams of American Sign Language (ASL) interpreters at various Microsoft events, conferences, meetings and presentations around the country.  Lazar Team members planned and coordinated all logistics of travel, accommodations, car rental, equipment rental, etc for various events conducted by the software giant.  Our interpreter/facilitators were tasked with coordinating event logistics that would allow hearing-impaired attendees to participate fully in the particular event, acted as liaisons for hearing impaired attendees and assisted them with any problems, ensured that all events were accessible to them and facilitated their participation in every way possible. 

SIEMENS MEDICAL SOLUTIONS DIAGNOSTICS

Lazar & Associates worked with Siemens to provide comprehensive technical translation for a wide variety of documents including training manuals, technical manuals, marketing material, product documentation, etc.  Lazar also provided high end graphic design and formatting services to ensure that all translated documents were optically identical to their English language counterparts.  We worked extensively with Trados translation memory to ensure consistency in language across a wide spectrum of documents we’ve translated over the years.  Siemens is one of our oldest clients and we are proud to have served them well for all of these years.
